TRAINING - Chancellor's Scholarship Program

The Chancellor’s Scholarship Program and Powers-Knapp Scholarship Program are merit-based, campus-wide scholarships awarded to academically outstanding and talented young people from historically underrepresented backgrounds (African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, Southeast Asian, or Socioeconomically Disadvantaged). The Zitzner Family Scholarship is included for rural students with a farming background. A committee carefully reviews each application and selects scholars on the basis of their demonstrated academic success in high school, involvement in school/community organizations, leadership skills, and ability to excel in the rigorous educational environment. The Chancellor’s and Powers-Knapp Scholarship Programs are committed to assisting scholars in their pursuit of personal and academic excellence during their undergraduate careers.
