TRAINING - Helen L. Bunge Scholarship

The Helen L. Bunge Scholarship Fund was established by William Bunge to honor his sister, Helen L. Bunge. Dr. Bunge was a former Dean of the School of Nursing. Under her leadership, the School of Nursing expanded and strengthened its curriculum, doubled its enrollment, and developed its first graduate program. Dr. Bunge was recognized nationally and internationally for her significant efforts in promoting nursing research at a time when nursing research was still a controversial idea.
