Supplemental Questions
(Winter) What is your expected graduation date (Semester/Year)? You must have Junior or Senior academic standing in the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters to be eligible for this award. You must be planning to enroll full-time (12 or more credits) in the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters.
(Winter) Finalists considered for this award will be invited to a required short interview in late February/early March with a small committee. I understand that if I am chosen as a finalist I am required to attend an interview.
(Winter) If selected as the recipient of this award, I understand that I will be given the opportunity to revise and edit my essay prior to submission to the donor. Prompt follow through is imperative.
(Winter) This essay will need to stand on its own as a complete piece of writing. I understand that it is recommeded that I use the resources available at the Writing Center.
(Winter) Discuss an experience in which you showed courage to address or meet a challenge. While we invite concrete description of demonstrated courage, we encourage you to critically assess the degree to which you disclose personal information.
